The 2009-2010 CSA Fund for Excellence
The CSA Fund for Excellence is a direct appeal campaign that reaches out to families of Pine Hill students in non-auction years.

I bought wrapping paper, so do I still need to give to the Fund for Excellence?
The $25,000 the CSA will spend supporting classroom enrichment programs this year, and the goal of this year’s Fund for Excellence, is only a small portion of the total CSA budget of ~ $87,000. The CSA runs smaller fundraisers throughout the year—Innisbrook Wrapping Paper, Gift Cards, BoxTops for Education, among others— but the Fund for Excellence is the CSA’s largest non-auction fundraiser. I have heard that “The CSA will spend approximately $200 per student this school year”—where does that number come from?
The CSA funds classroom enrichment, on-going enrichment (such as the Broadmoor Program, Health, and DARE) teacher support and community support. Our overall budget for 2009-2010 is projected to be approximately $87,000. For more information on the CSA budget, please click here. This number, divided by the number of Pine Hill students, is how the “$200 per student” statistic was determined.
How do I contribute to the Fund for Excellence?
If you would like to support the CSA Fund for Excellence, please print out (and fill out) the form below. Checks should be made payable to CSA Fund for Excellence and may be sent to CSA’s Fund for Excellence PO Box 51 Sherborn, MA 01770 or may be via backpack in an envelope marked CSA Fund for Excellence. All donations are fully tax deductible and are greatly appreciated.
